“I have used Alecia Levin’s services in all my homes. A home is not a home until she comes and does her magic. Most recently she helped stylize my Vancouver townhouse. I had a very tiny nook kitchen that was 20 years old with dated cupboards. Alecia came in and managed to create three times as much cupboard space, and with her choice of color in appliances, tile, cupboards and countertops the space looked twice as big. My family room area had a wood burning fireplace with an exposed metal pipe straight from the 80’s… Alecia decided to take our concrete tile floor and create a fireplace mantle type structure that extended right to the ceiling! “Alecia Levin has been designing for us since October 2006 until present. She is working with us on an ongoing basis to help create a warmer, more comfortable atmosphere in our home.
We actually were introduced to Alecia's work when we stayed in a cabin at Sun Peaks Resort. The cabin was so tastefully decorated. The moment you walked in you felt like you were home. Warm, inviting, comfortable & yet casually elegant. I called the owner of the cabin to find out if she would come and decorate my personal home in Vancouver. She laughed and then gave me Alecia’s name and email address.
We have been very happy with the results to date. She was initially consulted for our living room. She helped choose paint colors, sent an excellent and very reasonable painter, and made suggestions for furniture choices. She brought samples to the house, or if needed, met me at a particular store.
Also, Alecia worked with our existing furniture and accessories, to utilize what we already had and complimenting it with new pieces. She took into consideration the ages of our kids, and made very practical suggestions. Now, our living room has a cozy, comfortable feeling to it and we enjoy being in it.

Alecia acted as a design consultant when we built our next new home. I credit her for helping me with many difficult decisions. The one that really stands out is my flooring choice. The dark hardwood I had chosen would not have worked and it would have been a very costly mistake. The lighter shade of hardwood she helped me choose was really the only one that would have worked to create the light airy west coast feeling that my husband and I were looking for.
Alecia acting now as my Interior Decorator has also been decorating my new home by helping me use my existing beautiful furniture with new items to complement it. I appreciate the fact that many places give her a decorator discount and that the price reductions have been passed along to me. This has resulted in a huge savings on our purchases.
Her most incredible talent apart from the beautiful surroundings she has created for me is her knack for choosing artwork. She has found original art at local galleries, which are amazing and so right for me. I never tire of looking at them.

"When it was time to uproot and move the location of our travel agency it was an excellent opportunity to design a functional enjoyable atmosphere for all the colleges as well as our customers. The space we were moving from was about 1800 square feet with lots of wasted space and we would be losing about 800 square feet with our move. The new space was narrow, and many comments were made about "the bowling alley".
Alecia was very reassuring and determined that we would turn the negatives into positives. I had chosen the color pallette and there would not be any beiges and greys and blah colors but rather colors that would create a cheerful colorful atmosphere. Of course I had no idea of how to pull it all together. The furnishings I had my heart set on were simply not affordable and I was working on a fine timeline as I did not want to be paying rent on two stores. Alecia came to the rescue.
I think Alecia is as much a counsellor as a decorator as she spent hours with me to get a feel of what I wanted to achieve. Then we went shopping. She loved the furniture I had chosen and agreed the price made it unobtainable however Alecia had a number of tricks up her sleeve and wouldn't you just know that she knew a furniture builder and gave him all the specifics so he could prepare a quote which brought the furniture package in at half the price. Alecia oversaw the project from start to finish hiring the trades, managing all the trades and expediting our move on time and relatively painless. Compliments were received on an ongoing basis as long as we occupied the space. Unfortunately we were forced to move after six years of enjoying our office and the decision was made to mirror our previous space."
